“Razor” Rob looked razor sharp as he quickly dispatched Crunkilton in the first round. The fight was action packed as they stood and traded blows and although McCullough got the best of the standup, he got cut over his right eye. McCullough was then able to stun Crunkilton and land some ground and pound, but amazingly Crunkilton got the fight back up to his feet. Unfortunately his legs weren’t completely under him as another shot from McCullough had him spaghetti-legged as referee Herb Dean stepped in to stop the fight.
Chase Beebe (c) def. Rani Yahya by Unanimous Decision
This looked like Sean Sherk vs. Hermes Franca in rounds 2 through 5 as Beebe just dominated Yahya, but the first round was full of great action as Yahya had a nice knee bar on the champion. You could see Beebe wince in pain. Once Beebe was able to escape he found himself in submission attempt after submission attempt. Yahya was unable minerals in california the fight, and it just looked like his will to fight had left his body as Beebe dominated the last four rounds to win by an easy unanimous decision. Rani Yahya is going to be a force to reckon with, his standup showed tremendous improvement from what we saw in his last fight, keep an eye on him if he can put everything together because his BJJ is world class.
Brian Stann def. Jeremiah Billington by TKO
Why do people try to stand and trade with the guy? He’s a great standup fighter as we’ve seen in the past and now Ron Frazier (Randy Couture’s boxing coach) is working with him minerals in california favorite Kendall “Da Spyder” Grove was also in his corner) and it showed.
